Onmel (itraconazole oral administration)
type of Antifungals, Systemic
Onmel (itraconazole) is an azole antifungal indicated for the treatment of onychomycosis of the toenail caused by Trichophyton rubrum or T. mentagrophytes.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- upper stomach pain,
- loss of appetite,
- dark urine,
- clay-colored stools, and
- yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice)
- vomiting,
- lightheadedness,
- shortness of breath,
- confusion,
- fast heartbeats,
- tiredness,
- fluttering in your chest,
- blurred vision,
- constipation,
- swelling,
- muscle weakness,
- rapid weight gain,
- pain or burning when you urinate,
- ringing in your ears,
- increased thirst or urination,
- cough with mucus,
- severe pain in your upper stomach spreading to your back,
- leg cramps,
- limp feeling,
- loss of bladder control,
- little or no urinating,
- double vision,
- severe skin rash,
- sleep problems,
- numbness or tingly feeling,
- tingling in your arms or legs,
- irregular or fast heart beats,
- problem with hearing,
