Sporanox (itraconazole capsules)

Sporanox (itraconazole) is an antifungal agent used to treat infections caused by fungus, which can invade any part of the body including the lungs, mouth or throat, toenails, or fingernails. Sporanox is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • loss of appetite,
  • dark urine,
  • clay-colored stools, and
  • yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice)
  • vomiting,
  • lightheadedness,
  • shortness of breath,
  • confusion,
  • fast heartbeats,
  • tiredness,
  • fluttering in your chest,
  • blurred vision,
  • constipation,
  • swelling,
  • muscle weakness,
  • feeling tired,
  • rapid weight gain,
  • irregular heartbeats,
  • pain or burning when you urinate,
  • ringing in your ears,
  • increased thirst or urination,
  • cough with mucus,
  • severe pain in your upper stomach spreading to your back,
  • leg cramps,
  • limp feeling,
  • loss of bladder control,
  • little or no urinating,
  • double vision,
  • sleep problems,
  • numbness or tingly feeling,
  • problems with hearing,

  • Nuvail (poly-ureaurethane, 16% nail solution)
