Isturisa (osilodrostat tablets, for oral use)
type of Steroidogenesis Inhibitors
Isturisa (osilodrostat) is a cortisol synthesis inhibitor used to treat adult patients with Cushing's disease for whom pituitary surgery is not an option or has not been curative.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- rash,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- fever,
- dizziness,
- joint pain,
- back pain,
- headache,
- low blood pressure (hypotension),
- fatigue,
- cough,
- abdominal pain,
- urinary tract infection (UTI),
- low blood potassium (hypokalemia),
- muscle pain,
- runny or stuffy nose
- fluid retention (edema),
- decreased appetite,
- anemia,
- adrenal insufficiency,
- blood corticotrophin increased,
- abnormal hormone levels,
- blood testosterone increased,
- high blood pressure (hypertension), and
- influenza
