Nourianz (istradefylline tablets)

Nourianz (istradefylline) is an adenosine receptor antagonist indicated as adjunctive treatment to levodopa/carbidopa in adult patients with Parkinson's disease (PD) experiencing "off" episodes.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• confusion,
• hallucinations,
• unusual thoughts or behavior,
• uncontrolled or involuntary muscle movements,
• risk-taking behavior, and
• impulsive behavior
