Istodax (romidepsin for injection)
type of Antineoplastics HDAc Inhibitors
Istodax (romidepsin) for Injection is a histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor used to treat T-cell lymphoma affecting the skin (cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, or CTCL). Istodax is usually given after other medications have been tried without successful treatment of symptoms.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- vomiting,
- fever,
- easy bruising,
- unusual bleeding,
- pale skin,
- lightheadedness,
- shortness of breath,
- cold hands and feet,
- chills,
- tiredness,
- chest pain,
- fluttering in your chest,
- muscle aches,
- weakness,
- cough,
- flu symptoms,
- mouth sores,
- muscle cramps,
- sudden dizziness,
- skin sores,
- tingling in your hands and feet or around your mouth
- diarrhea, and
- chest congestion,
- burning when you urinate,
- worsening skin symptoms,
- fast, slow or pounding heartbeats,
