Monoket (isosorbide mononitrate, usp)

Monoket (isosorbide mononitrate) is a vasodilator indicated for the prevention and treatment of angina pectoris due to coronary artery disease. The onset of action of oral isosorbide mononitrate is not sufficiently rapid for monoket to be useful in aborting an acute anginal episode.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• headache
• nausea
• dizziness
• fatigue
• rash
• increased cough
• upper respiratory infection, pain

• Cardene I.V. (nicardipine hydrochloride)
• Cardene SR (nicardipine hydrochloride sustained release capsules)
• Imdur Tablets (isosorbide mononitrate)

• Lovaza (omega-3-acid ethyl esters)
• Micardis (telmisartan)
• Micardis HCT (telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide tablets)
• Zocor (simvastatin)
