Isentress (raltegravir tablets)

Isentress (raltegravir) is an antiviral medication used to treat HIV, which causes acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Isentress is not a cure for HIV or AIDS.
The drug is often used to treat HIV .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- loss of appetite,
- dark urine,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- fever,
- swollen glands,
- night sweats,
- shortness of breath,
- weight loss,
- stomach pain,
- clay-colored stools,
- chest pain,
- rapid heart rate,
- wheezing,
- weakness,
- skin pain,
- mouth sores,
- anxiety,
- irritableness,
- extreme tiredness,
- loss of interest in sex,
- impotence,
- muscle pain, and
- muscle or joint pain,
- burning in your eyes,
- tenderness
- dry cough,
- general ill feeling,
- yellowing of the skin or eyes,
- cold sores,
- problems with balance or eye movement,
- swelling in your neck or throat (enlarged thyroid),
- prickly feeling,
- sores on your genital or anal area,
- menstrual changes,
