Onivyde (irinotecan liposome injection)

Onivyde (irinotecan liposome injection) is a topoisomerase inhibitor indicated, in combination with fluorouracil and leucovorin, for the treatment of patients with metastatic adenocarcinoma of the pancreas after disease progression following gemcitabine-based therapy.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • fever,
  • easy bruising,
  • unusual bleeding,
  • pale skin,
  • lightheadedness,
  • shortness of breath,
  • cold hands and feet,
  • confusion,
  • chills,
  • severe drowsiness,
  • fast heartbeats,
  • tiredness,
  • wheezing,
  • little or no urination,
  • chest tightness,
  • new or worsening cough,
  • skin sores,
  • feeling very thirsty or hot,
  • black or bloody stools,
  • heavy sweating,
  • rapid breathing, and
  • severe or ongoing vomiting or diarrhea,
  • sores or white patches in or around your mouth,
  • hot or dry skin,
  • feeling very ill
