Isovue-M (iopamidol injection)

Isovue-M (iopamidol) Injection is a contrast medium used for intrathecal administration in neuroradiology including myelography (lumbar, thoracic, cervical, total columnar), and for contrast enhancement of computed tomographic (CECT) cisternography and ventriculography.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• nausea,
• lightheadedness,
• shortness of breath,
• pain spreading to your jaw or shoulder,
• seizure,
• weight gain,
• swelling,
• wheezing,
• sweating,
• weakness,
• chest pain or pressure,
• hoarseness,
• sudden cough,
• rapid weight gain,
• sudden numbness or weakness (especially on one side of the body),
• extreme tiredness,
• coughing up blood,
• dry skin,
• muscle pain,
• little or no urinating,
• severe dizziness,
• sudden severe headache,
• slurred speech, and
• swelling in your neck or throat (enlarged thyroid),
• problems with vision or balance
• joint pain or stiffness,
• increased sensitivity to cold temperatures,

• E-Z-HD (barium sulfate oral suspension)
• Readi-Cat 2 (barium sulfate suspension)

• Technescan PYP (kit for the preparation of technetium tc 99m pyrophosphate injection)
