Invega Trinza (paliperidone palmitate) extended-release, a 3-month injection, is an atypical antipsychotic indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia in patients after they have been adequately treated with Invega Sustenna (1-month paliperidone palmitate extended-release injectable suspension) for at least four months.

The drug is often used to treat Schizophrenia .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • fever,
  • lightheadedness,
  • shortness of breath,
  • chills,
  • fluttering in your chest,
  • seizure,
  • weight gain,
  • trouble swallowing,
  • sore throat,
  • increased thirst,
  • increased urination,
  • fruity breath odor,
  • mouth sores,
  • very stiff (rigid) muscles,
  • impotence,
  • fast or pounding heartbeats,
  • sudden dizziness,
  • penis erection that is painful or lasts 4 hours or longer,
  • hunger,
  • fainting
  • nipple discharge,
  • changes in menstrual periods,
  • tremors or shaking in your arms or legs,
  • any new or unusual muscle movements you cannot control,
  • breast swelling (in women or men),
  • high fever, and
