Inomax (nitric oxide)

INOmax (nitric oxide) is an inhaled gas that acts as a pulmonary vasodilator used together with a breathing machine (ventilator) to treat respiratory failure in premature babies.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • low blood pressure,
  • blood in the urine, and
  • collapsed lung
