Incivek (telaprevir film-coated tablets)

Incivek (telaprevir) is a protease inhibitor prescribed to treat chronic hepatitis C in adults with stable liver problems, who have not been treated before or who have failed previous treatment.
The drug is often used to treat Hepatitis C .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- upper stomach pain,
- loss of appetite,
- dark urine,
- vomiting,
- fever,
- swollen glands,
- easy bruising,
- unusual bleeding,
- pale skin,
- lightheadedness,
- shortness of breath,
- confusion,
- yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
- chest pain,
- numbness,
- swelling,
- flu-like symptoms,
- increased thirst,
- muscle weakness,
- rapid weight gain,
- pain,
- severe tingling,
- hot and dry skin,
- heavy sweating,
- feeling hot,
- inability to urinate,
- irregular heart rhythm,
- little or not urination, and
- new of worsening cough with fever
