Ventavis (iloprost)
type of PAH, Prostacyclin Analogs
Ventavis (iloprost) Inhalation Solution is a synthetic prostacyclin that works by opening blood vessels in the lungs used as an inhalant to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).
This drug may have the following side effects:
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- dizziness,
- headache,
- muscle cramps,
- back pain
- flushing (warmth, redness, or tingly feeling),
- increased cough,
- trouble sleeping (insomnia),
- nausea,
- jaw tightness or pain,
- muscle spasms of the jaw,
- tongue pain,
- trouble chewing or speaking,
- altered sense of taste.
