Zydelig (idelalisib tablets)
type of Antineoplastics PI3K Inhibitors
Zydelig (idelalisib) is an inhibitor of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase used in combination with rituximab, for the treatment of patients with relapsed chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) for whom rituximab alone would be considered appropriate therapy due to other co-morbidities. Zydelig is also used to treat patients with relapsed follicular B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (FL) or relapsed small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL) who have received at least two prior systemic therapies.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- upper stomach pain,
- loss of appetite,
- dark urine,
- vomiting,
- fever,
- swollen glands,
- skin rash,
- easy bruising,
- unusual bleeding,
- shortness of breath,
- chills,
- sore throat
- muscle aches,
- wheezing,
- sore throat,
- burning eyes,
- skin pain,
- red or purple skin rash with blistering and peeling,
- mouth sores,
- severe weakness,
- yellowing of your skin or eyes (jaundice),
- cough with mucus,
- purple or red spots under your skin,
- severe diarrhea,
- skin sores, and
- worsening stomach pain,
- increased number of stools per day,
- worsening cough,
