Motrin (ibuprofen)

Motrin (ibuprofen) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) indicated for relief of the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, for relief of mild to moderate pain, and for treatment of primary dysmenorrhea. A generic formulation is available.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- upper stomach pain,
- loss of appetite,
- itching,
- dark urine,
- rapid heart rate,
- flu-like symptoms,
- feeling tired,
- rapid weight gain,
- vision changes,
- bloody or tarry stools,
- yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice),
- fever, and
- little or no urinating,
- trouble concentrating,
- coughing up blood or vomit that looks like coffee grounds,
- shortness of breath or feeling light-headed,
- swelling in your hands or feet, face or tongue,
- skin rash that is red or purple with blisters,
- clay colored stools,
- burning in your eyes
