Ibsrela (tenapanor tablets)

Ibsrela (tenapanor) is a sodium/hydrogen exchanger 3 (NHE3) inhibitor indicated for treatment of irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C) in adults.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • vomiting,
  • diarrhea,
  • nervousness,
  • hives, 
  • difficulty breathing, 
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, 
  • confusion, 
  • abdominal pain,
  • irregular heartbeat, 
  • rectal bleeding, 
  • numbness or tingling in the hands, feet, or lips, and
  • weakness or heaviness of the legs
