Imbruvica (ibrutinib capsules)

Imbruvica (ibrutinib) is an inhibitor of Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK) used to treat patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) who have received at least one prior therapy.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • shortness of breath,
  • nausea,
  • vomiting,
  • indigestion,
  • diarrhea,
  • weakness,
  • cough,
  • constipation,
  • joint pain,
  • anemia,
  • fever,
  • nosebleed,
  • rash,
  • headache.
  • fatigue,
  • abdominal pain,
  • dizziness, and
  • urinary tract infection,
  • sinus infection,
  • upper respiratory tract infection,
  • bruising, 
  • muscle spasms,
  • decreased appetite,
  • musculoskeletal pain,
  • pneumonia,
  • low platelet count,
  • neutropenia,
  • swelling of the extremities,
  • swelling of the mouth and lips,
  • skin infections,
  • dehydration,
