Hytrin (terazosin hcl)

Hytrin (terazosin hydrochloride) is an alpha-adrenergic blocker used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate). Hytrin is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • headache,
  • blurred vision,
  • weakness,
  • drowsiness,
  • stuffy nose,
  • fatigue,
  • difficulty breathing, or
  • impotence.
