HyperRHO Mini-Dose (rho(d) immune globulin (human) intramuscular administration)

HyperRHO S/D Mini-Dose [Rho(D) Immune Globulin (Human)] is an immune globulin containing antibodies to Rho(D) recommended to prevent the isoimmunization of Rho(D) negative women at the time of spontaneous or induced abortion of up to 12 weeks' gestation provided the following criteria are met: 1. The mother must be Rho(D) negative and must not already be sensitized to the Rho(D) antigen; 2. The father is not known to be Rho(D) negative; and 3. Gestation is not more than 12 weeks at termination.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- rash,
- fever,
- lightheadedness,
- shortness of breath,
- confusion,
- chills,
- rapid breathing,
- chest pain,
- back pain,
- rapid heart rate,
- swelling,
- dark colored urine,
- sudden numbness or weakness,
- rapid weight gain,
- slurred speech,
- problems with vision or balance,
- shaking,
- chest tightness,
- pale or yellowed skin,
- coughing up blood, and
- little or no urinating,
- unusual weakness,
- red or pink urine,
- swelling with redness and warmth in one or both legs
The following drugs are related to HyperRHO Mini-Dose, either as a replacement or used together:
- Hemabate (carboprost tromethamine)
- Cytotec (misoprostol)
- Xembify (immune globulin subcutaneous, human – klhw injection)
- Mifeprex (mifepristone (ru486))
- Pitocin (oxytocin injection)
