Hylaform (hylan B) Dermal Filler Gel contains a purified form of hyaluronic acid, and is used to smooth facial lines and wrinkles caused by aging by adding volume to the skin.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing, and
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat

The following drugs are related to Hylaform, either as a replacement or used together:

• Radiesse (calcium hydroxylapatite gel filler for wrinkle reduction)
• Zyderm (highly purified bovine dermal collagen implant)
• Recedo (medical-grade topical silicone, topical gel)
• Perlane (non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid (nasha) gel)
