Paremyd (hydroxyamphetamine hydrobromide, tropicamide)
type of Cycloplegics/Mydriatics
Paremyd (hydroxyamphetamine Hydrobromide 1% and tropicamide 0.25%) is a topical mydriatic used for pupil dilation (mydriasis) in routine diagnostic procedures and in conditions where short-term pupil dilation is desired.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- loss of appetite,
- itching,
- diarrhea,
- skin rash,
- pale skin,
- lightheadedness,
- shortness of breath,
- confusion,
- tiredness,
- stomach pain,
- dizziness,
- blurred vision,
- headache,
- wheezing,
- fainting,
- nervousness,
- pounding in the ears,
- weakness,
- cough,
- tightness in the chest,
- agitation,
- restlessness,
- vomiting
- chest pain or pressure,
- fast, slow, or irregular heartbeat,
- loss of consciousness,
- anxiety,
- pounding heartbeats,
- irritability,
- tremor,
- hallucinations,
- eye pain,
- nightmares,
- indigestion,
- heartburn,
- difficulty swallowing,
- gas,
- bloating,
- hyperactivity,
- loss of vision,
- unusual behavior,
- sweating, and
- cold or clammy skin,
- pain or discomfort in the arms, jaw, back, or neck,
- disorientation,
- sudden sweating,
- failure to recognize people,
- mood or mental changes,
- enlarged pupils,
