Locoid Lipocream (hydrocortisone butyrate) Cream, 0.1% is a topical (for the skin) steroid used to treat inflammation of the skin caused by a number of conditions such as allergic reactions, eczema, or psoriasis. Locoid Lipocream is available in generic form.

The drug is often used to treat Psoriasis .

This drug may have the following side effects:

• itching,
• burning,
• irritation,
• stinging,
• dryness,
• redness, or
• peeling at the application site when this medication is first applied to the skin
