Zydone (hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen)

Zydone (hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen) is a combination of a narcotic pain reliever and a less potent pain reliever that increases the effects of hydrocodone used to relieve moderate to severe pain.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • nausea,
  • upper stomach pain,
  • loss of appetite,
  • dark urine,
  • vomiting,
  • fever,
  • lightheadedness,
  • tiredness,
  • clay-colored stools,
  • yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
  • dizziness,
  • diarrhea
  • breathing that stops,
  • sweating,
  • noisy breathing,
  • agitation,
  • shivering,
  • shallow breathing,
  • hallucinations,
  • twitching,
  • fast heart rate,
  • breathing with long pauses,
  • blue colored lips,
  • difficulty to wake up,
  • muscle stiffness,
  • loss of coordination, and
  • sighing,
  • worsening tiredness or weakness,
