Vicoprofen (hydrocodone and ibuprofen)
type of Analgesics, NSAID/Opioid Combos
Vicoprofen (hydrocodone and ibuprofen) is a combination of a narcotic pain reliever and a
nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used short-term to relieve severe pain. Vicoprofen is not for treating arthritis pain. Vicoprofen is available in generic form.
The drug is often used to treat Arthritis .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- upper stomach pain,
- loss of appetite,
- dark urine,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- fever,
- shortness of breath,
- tiredness,
- yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
- dizziness,
- sudden numbness,
- nausea
- swelling,
- flu-like symptoms,
- sweating,
- weakness,
- agitation,
- shivering,
- sore throat,
- skin pain,
- little or no urination,
- swelling in your feet or ankles,
- rapid weight gain,
- slurred speech,
- weakness on one side of the body,
- hallucinations,
- bloody or tarry stools,
- coughing up blood,
- vomit that looks like coffee grounds,
- twitching,
- fast heart rate,
- weak or shallow breathing,
- burning in your eyes,
- skin rash (no matter how mild),
- muscle stiffness,
- loss of coordination, and
- sighing,
- breathing that stops during sleep,
- slow heartbeat,
- worsening tiredness,
- chest pain spreading to your jaw or shoulder,
- leg swelling,
- red or purple skin rash that spreads and causes and peeling,
