Zohydro ER (hydrocodone)
type of Opioid Analgesics
Zohydro ER (hydrocodone bitartrate) Extended Release is an opioid agonist used for management of pain severe enough to require daily, around-the-clock, long-term opioid treatment and for which alternative treatment options are inadequate.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- shortness of breath,
- nausea,
- headache,
- dizziness,
- vomiting,
- rash, and
- cough,
- itching,
- constipation,
- numbness and tingling,
- tremor,
- joint pain,
- fever,
- dry mouth,
- tiredness,
- depression,
- insomnia,
- anxiety,
- back pain,
- muscle pain,
- increased sweating,
- fatigue,
- urinary tract infection,
- upper respiratory tract infection,
- muscle spasms,
- pain in extremities,
- night sweats,
- sleepiness,
- dehydration,
- migraine,
- neck pain,
- abdominal pain or discomfort,
- gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD),
- swelling of legs and feet,
- non-cardiac chest pain,
- increased blood cholesterol,
- hot flashes.
