Hycotuss (hydrocodone bitartrate and guaifenesin) Expectorant Syrup is a combination of an opiod antitussive and an expectorant used for the symptomatic relief of irritating nonproductive cough associated with upper and lower respiratory tract congestion. Hycotuss may be available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- vomiting,
- lightheadedness,
- dizziness,
- constipation,
- low blood pressure,
- weakness,
- mood changes,
- drowsiness,
- anxiety,
- upset stomach,
- heart palpitations,
- slowed breathing,
- dry mouth.
