Hycodan (hydrocodone bitartrate and homatropine methylbromide) is a combination of a narcotic cough medicine and a medicine that works against the narcotic to prevent an overdose used to treat cough.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • nausea,
  • loss of appetite,
  • vomiting,
  • fever,
  • lightheadedness,
  • confusion,
  • stomach pain,
  • dizziness,
  • seizure,
  • diarrhea
  • sweating,
  • weakness,
  • noisy breathing,
  • agitation,
  • shivering,
  • little or no urination,
  • shallow breathing,
  • hallucinations,
  • twitching,
  • fast heart rate,
  • blue colored lips,
  • difficulty to wake up,
  • extreme drowsiness,
  • muscle stiffness,
  • loss of coordination, and
  • limp feeling,
  • severe constipation,
  • slow breathing with long pauses,
  • sighing,
  • worsening tiredness,
