Hycamtin (topotecan hydrochloride)

Hycamtin (topotecan) is a cancer (antineoplastic) medication used to treat ovarian cancer, small cell lung cancer, and certain types of cervical cancer.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • loss of appetite,
  • diarrhea,
  • tiredness,
  • constipation,
  • headache,
  • weakness,
  • cough,
  • abdominal pain,
  • mouth sores
  • nausea and vomiting (may be severe),
  • temporary hair loss, and
