Hylenex (hyaluronidase human injection)

Hylenex recombinant (hyaluronidase human injection) is a genetically designed protein used as an aid in helping the body absorb other injected medications. Hylenex is also used to help contrast dyes in the body show more clearly on certain types of x-rays or scans.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- injection site reactions (pain, itching, redness, swelling, or tenderness),
- swelling in any part of the body, and
- allergic reactions such as hives
