Humalog (insulin lispro (human analog))

Humalog (insulin lispro [rDNA origin]) Injection is a hormone that is produced in the body used to treat type 1 (insulin-dependent) diabetes in adults. Humalog is usually given together with another long-acting insulin. Humalog is also used together with oral medications to treat type 2 (non insulin-dependent) diabetes in adults.

The drug is often used to treat Diabetes .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • dizziness,
  • fluttering in your chest,
  • weight gain,
  • constipation,
  • headache,
  • sweating,
  • swelling in your hands or feet,
  • irregular heartbeats,
  • irritability,
  • fast heart rate,
  • increased thirst or urination,
  • hunger,
  • leg cramps,
  • feeling short of breath,
  • numbness or tingling, and
  • muscle weakness or limp feeling
  • feeling anxious or shaky,
