Supprelin LA (histrelin acetate) is a man-made form of gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) used to treat precocious puberty in both male and female children. The Vantas brand of histrelin is used to treat symptoms of prostate cancer in men and should not be used in women or children.
The drug is often used to treat Prostate cancer .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- seizure,
- painful or difficult urination,
- aggression,
- blood in your urine,
- bone pain,
- crying spells,
- irritableness
- anger,
- restlessness, and
- numbness or weakness in your legs or feet,
