Vantas (histrelin acetate)

Vantas (histrelin acetate) Subcutaneous Implant is a synthetic form of gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) used to treat symptoms of prostate cancer in men. Vantas should not be used in women or children. Vantas treats only the symptoms of prostate cancer but does not treat the cancer itself.
The drug is often used to treat Prostate cancer .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- seizure,
- painful or difficult urination,
- aggression,
- blood in your urine,
- bone pain,
- crying spells,
- anger,
- restlessness, and
- numbness or weakness in your legs or feet,
- irritability
