Herceptin (trastuzumab)
type of Antineoplastics, Anti-HER2
Herceptin (trastuzumab) is a cancer medicine used to treat breast cancer that has progressed after treatment with other chemotherapy.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- headache,
- diarrhea,
- mouth sores,
- sleep problems (insomnia),
- loss of appetite,
- weight loss,
- rash,
- stomach or abdominal pain,
- nausea and vomiting (may be severe),
- tiredness, and
- altered sense of taste,
- redness or irritation at injection (IV) site,
- muscle/joint/back pain,
- cold symptoms such as stuffy nose, sinus pain, sneezing, or sore throat.
