HalfLytely and Bisacodyl Tablets Bowel Prep Kit (sodium chloride-sodium bicarbonate and potassium chloride) is a laxative that stimulates bowel movements used to clean the bowel before colonoscopy or other intestinal procedures.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- seizure,
- vomiting
- severe stomach pain,
- coughing up blood,
- vomit that looks like coffee grounds,
- severe nausea,
- bloating,
- rectal bleeding,
- now bowel movement within 6 hours after use,
- gagging,
- choking, and
The following drugs are related to HalfLytely and Bisacodyl Tablets, either as a replacement or used together:
- GoLytely (polyethylene glycol 3350 and electrolytes oral solution)
- MoviPrep (peg-3350, sodium sulfate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, sodium ascorbate, ascorbic acid)
- NuLytely (polyethylene glycol 3350, sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and potassium chloride for oral solution)
- OsmoPrep (sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate and sodium phosphate dibasic anhydrous)
- Prepopik (sodium picosulfate, magnesium oxide, and anhydrous citric acid) for oral solution)
