Halog Solution (halcinonide topical solution)

Halog Solution (halcinonide) is a topical corticosteroid used to treat the inflammation and itching caused by a number of skin conditions such as allergic reactions, eczema, and psoriasis. The brand name Halog Solution is discontinued, but generic versions may be available.

The drug is often used to treat Psoriasis .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • dry mouth,
  • worsening of your skin condition,
  • redness, warmth, swelling, oozing, or severe irritation of any treated skin,
  • increased thirst,
  • increased urination,
  • fruity breath odor,
  • weight gain (especially in your face or your upper back and torso),
  • slow wound healing,
  • increased body hair,
  • depression,
  • changes in sexual function,
  • thinning skin,
  • irritableness
  • anxious, and
