Halog-E Cream (halcinonide cream)

Halog-E Cream (halcinonide) 0.1% is a topical corticosteroid used to treat the inflammation and itching caused by a number of skin conditions such as allergic reactions, eczema, and psoriasis. The brand name Halog-E Cream is discontinued, but generic versions may be available.

The drug is often used to treat Psoriasis .

This drug may have the following side effects:

• burning
• skin rash or irritation around your mouth
• swollen hair follicles
• changes in color of treated skin
• crusting of treated skin, or
• stretch marks
• dryness
• blisters
• pimples
• thinning or softening of skin
• skin itching
