Pedvax HIB (haemophilus b conjugate vaccine)

Liquid PedvaxHIB [Haemophilus b Conjugate Vaccine (Meningococcal Protein Conjugate)] is an immunization used to prevent infection caused by haemophilus b bacteria. Liquid PedvaxHIB vaccine will not protect against other types of influenza.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • seizure,
  • fussiness,
  • irritability, and
  • crying for an hour or longer
  • high fever (within a few hours or days after the vaccine),
The following drugs are related to Pedvax HIB, either as a replacement or used together:
  • Comvax (haemophilus b conjugate and hepatitis b vaccine)
  • Vaxelis (diphtheria and tetanus toxoids and acellular pertussis adsorbed, inactivated poliovirus, haemophilus b conjugate [meningococcal protein conjugate] and hepatitis b [recombinant] vaccine)
