Tenex (guanfacine hydrochloride) is an antihypertensive drug used to manage high
blood pressure (hypertension). Tenex is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • headache,

  • constipation,

  • impotence, and
  • sleepiness,
  • insomnia.
