Raxar (grepafloxacin) is an antibiotic used to treat various types of bacterial infections. The brand name Raxar is discontinued, but generic versions may be available.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- dizziness,
- rash,
- joint pain, and
- irregular heart rate,
- burning or stinging sensation in your skin,
- liver enzyme abnormalities,
- stiffness and swelling in your joints, and
- clicking or grinding sensation in your joints
