Grastek (timothy grass pollen allergen extract tablets)

Grastek (Timothy grass pollen allergen extract) is an allergen extract used as immunotherapy for the treatment of grass pollen-induced allergic rhinitis with or without conjunctivitis confirmed by positive skin test or in vitro testing for pollen-specific IgE antibodies for Timothy grass or cross-reactive grass pollens. Grastek is not indicated for the immediate relief of allergic symptoms.
The drug is often used to treat Allergic rhinitis , Conjunctivitis .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- itching,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- lightheadedness,
- stomach pain,
- wheezing,
- cough,
- chest pain, and
- chest tightness,
- fast heart rate,
- severe dizziness,
- flushing (warmth, redness, or tingly feeling),
- breathing problems,
- trouble swallowing
- choking feeling,
- severe mouth or throat irritation,
