Myochrysine (gold sodium thiomalate)

Myochrysine (gold sodium thiomalate) is a form of gold used as an injection to treat adult and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. Gold suppresses the inflammatory process.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- loss of appetite,
- fever,
- easy bruising,
- unusual bleeding,
- lightheadedness,
- chills,
- weakness,
- sore throat,
- fast or irregular heartbeat,
- mouth sores,
- hallucinations,
- change in the amount of urine,
- numbness or tingling in your hands or feet,
- tiredness, and
- stomach cramps,
- changes in vision,
- metallic taste in your mouth,
- difficulty urinating,
- yellowing of the eyes and skin (jaundice)
