GlucaGon (glucagon for injection)

type of Antidiabetics, Glucagon-like Peptide-1 Agonists

GlucaGon for injection is a gastrointestinal motility inhibitor indicated for use as a diagnostic aid during radiologic examinations to temporarily inhibit movement of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nausea,
• vomiting, and
• allergic reactions,
• temporary changes in blood pressure,
• increase in heart rate,
• low blood sugar (hypoglycemia)

• Proglycem (diazoxide capsules)
• GlucaGen (glucagon [rdna origin]) for injection)
• GlucaGen HypoKit (glucagon hydrochloride kit)
• Gvoke (glucagon injection)
• Xultophy Injection (insulin degludec and liraglutide)
• Riomet ER (metformin hydrochloride for extended-release oral suspension)
