GlucaGen (glucagon [rDNA origin] for injection) is an antihypoglycemic agent used to treat insulin coma or insulin reaction resulting from severe hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nausea,
• vomiting, and
• fast heartbeat.
