Xospata (gilteritinib) is a kinase inhibitor indicated for the treatment of adult patients who have relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML) with a FLT3 mutation as detected by an FDA-approved test.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• nausea,
• vomiting,
• fever,
• lightheadedness,
• confusion,
• chills,
• chest pain,
• fluttering in your chest,
• seizure,
• headache,
• cough,
• flu symptoms,
• shortness of breath, and
• rapid weight gain,
• fast or pounding heartbeats,
• cough with mucus,
• severe pain in your upper stomach spreading to your back,
• mouth or throat ulcers,
• bone pain,
• vision loss,
• sudden dizziness
• swelling in your arms, legs, underarms, groin, or neck,
• changes in mental status,
