Giapreza (angiotensin II) is a vasoconstrictor to increase blood pressure in adults with septic or other distributive shock.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- itching,
- vomiting,
- easy bruising,
- unusual bleeding,
- confusion,
- tiredness,
- stomach pain,
- blurred vision,
- dry mouth,
- headache,
- nervousness,
- weakness,
- restlessness,
- increased thirst,
- fruity breath odor,
- drowsiness,
- flushed or dry skin,
- hallucinations,
- excitement,
- blood in the urine or stools,
- bleeding gums,
- sweating, and
- unexplained weight loss
- black or tarry stools,
- increased hunger,
- cold hands or feet,
- pinpoint red spots on the skin,
- fast, pounding, or irregular heartbeat or pulse,
- pain in the arms, legs, or lower back, especially in the calves or heels upon exertion,
- pain, redness, or swelling in the arm or leg,
- numbness or tingling of the face, fingers, or toes,
- pale and bluish-colored skin,
