Generess Fe (norethindrone and ethinyl estradiol chewable tablets and ferrous fumarate chewable tablets) is an oral contraceptive regimen indicated for use by women to prevent pregnancy.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- vomiting,
- weight gain,
- headaches,
- depression,
- anxiety,
- acne,
- bloating
- abdominal cramps,
- migraine,
- mood complaints,
- breast pain and tenderness,
- swelling of the ankles/feet (fluid retention),
- vaginal bleeding between periods (spotting), or
- missed/irregular periods

- Depo-Provera (medroxyprogesterone)
- Depo-SubQ Provera (medroxyprogesterone acetate)
- Yasmin (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol)
- Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol)
- Tri-Luma (hydroquinone 4% cream)
- Plan B (levonorgestrel emergency contraception, morning after pill)
- Norplant (levonorgestrel implants (unavailable in us))
- Mirena (levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system)
- Nor-QD (norethindrone)
