Zymar (gatifloxacin ophthalmic solution) is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to treat eye infections caused by bacteria. Zymar is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• headache,
• blurred vision,
• watery eyes,
• headache, or
• eye itching/burning/irritation/pain/
  dryness/redness,
• puffy eyelids,
• bad or unpleasant taste in your mouth after using the drops.
