Galafold (migalastat capsules)

Galafold (migalastat) is an alpha-galactosidase A (alpha-Gal A) pharmacological chaperone indicated for the treatment of adults with a confirmed diagnosis of Fabry disease and an amenable galactosidase alpha gene (GLA) variant based on in vitro assay data.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, and
- pain or burning when you urinate
The following drugs are related to Galafold, either as a replacement or used together:
- Fabrazyme (agalsidase beta)
- Elfabrio (pegunigalsidase alfa-iwxj injection)
