Furoscix (furosemide injection)

Furoscix (furosemide injection) is a loop diuretic indicated for the treatment of congestion due to fluid overload in adults with NYHA Class II/III chronic heart failure.

The drug is often used to treat Heart failure .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • administration site and skin reactions (redness, bruising, swelling, and infusion site pain),
  • fluid and/or electrolyte imbalances,
  • increased blood glucose levels,
  • skin sensitivity to sunlight
