Frova (frovatriptan succinate)
type of Antimigraine Agents, Serotonin 5-HT-Receptor Agonists
Frova (frovatriptan succinate) is a headache medicine used to treat migraine headaches. Frova will only treat a headache that has already begun. Frova will not prevent headaches or reduce the number of attacks.
The drug is often used to treat Migraine .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- fever,
- shortness of breath,
- pain spreading to your jaw or shoulder,
- seizure,
- severe headache,
- blurred vision,
- pounding in your neck or ears,
- fainting,
- sweating,
- agitation,
- overactive reflexes,
- burning pain,
- muscle weakness,
- irregular heartbeats,
- anxiety,
- hallucinations,
- fast heart rate,
- loss of coordination,
- bloody diarrhea,
- numbness or tingling,
- nosebleeds,
- severe chest pain,
- sudden numbness or weakness (especially on one side of your body),
- slurred speech, and
- sudden and severe stomach pain,
- cramps in your legs or feet,
- tight or heavy feelings in your legs or feet,
- cold feeling in your legs or feet,
- color changes (pale or blue) in your legs or feet,
- hip pain,
- pressure in your chest,
- problems with vision or balance
